Confirmation

Confirmation or Affirmation of Baptism (ABI) is a three-year intensive learning process that begins in the sixth grade.  ABI students learn about the Scriptures and Lutheran doctrine and teachings. Learning is achieved through Bible and catechism study in large and small groups. This study is combined with music, games, fun activities and confirmation camp. Our program is also designed to teach our youth the value of service in our community. We do this by participating in the CROP Walk for Hunger, helping other kids through collection and distribution of clothes and athletic equipment, and initiating a  food drive to benefit a local food pantry. In affirming their baptisms, our youth are stating that they “affirm” what their parents and sponsors said for them in their baptism. They are now ready to accept greater responsibility for their faith journey. Come join us and experience the faith journey with us.
