Ascension Lutheran Church

It is our desire at Ascension Lutheran Church to worship the one true God through the abundant variety of music that He has created. God has given each of us the wonderful opportunity to worship and and praise Him with all of our heart. This is our joyous choice – it is not forced upon us. The music ministry at our church, through the use of our voices and musical instruments, is prepared to fulfill our mission “to boldly make Christ known”. The music selected for each of our services is chosen to engage the hearts, of those in attendance, in worship and praise of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Opportunities for Music Ministry

The Congregation has a unique opportunity to use music during worship to unite our voices in praise, thanksgiving, confession and petition. To hear the love, grace and mercy of God proclaimed through music. To hear the testimony of others expressed through music and to learn theological truths enhanced by music.

The Adult Choir ministers regularly participate in our worship services. Everyone is welcome to be a part of our music ministry. Our choir meets on Sunday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Come and join as we praise our Lord.
